Twilight at sunset
Feel the calm of the day’s final rays. As the light fades, the sky is painted in intense, shifting hues that Turrell’s light amplifies and refines. You can read more about a Twilight at sunset in As Seen Below here.
When you purchase a seat reservation, admission to the museum on the selected day is included. If you hold an annual pass, please make sure to log in—then you only need to purchase a seat reservation for DKK 40.

October 1, every Sunday in November and December + December 21, Twilight at Sunset will be accompanied by a recording of the sound work Liminality, composed specifically for As Seen Below by Kh Maria Studio and performed by Ensemble Edge. Liminality is a newly written choral work based on lullabies submitted by residents of Aarhus in spring 2026.

What to wear
As Seen Below is open to the outdoors. Dress for the weather and bring an extra warm layer.
An experience in silence
Please be aware that even small sounds are amplified inside the dome. Be considerate of others, set your phone to silent, and save longer conversations until after the experience. During Twilight, children must be able to remain seated and quiet for 45–60 minutes.
